World's Largest Coscto Slated for Northwest Fresno
In a bid to roll out a brand new retail model, Costco is proposing a 241,000 sq. ft location on Herndon Avenue in far NW Fresno.
The location would be the retail giant's largest retail store, dwarfing the existing front runner in Salt Lake City, Utah. But, it's not all customer accessible retail. Costco's new business model leaves about 47,000 sq. ft of market delivery operation space. This will enable Costco to rival competitors such as Walmart with digital ordering, pickup, and perhaps even delivery.
