(16 June 2022 - FRESNO) As JTF Fresno has been consistently reporting on since August of 2021, Chipotle's Herndon & Brawley location is slated to be the newest addition to the River Oak Plaza just north of the Figarden Loop. In a first for the area, this location will feature a Chipotlane: a fancy term for a drive thru at Chipotle.
A corporate financal report from earlier this year stated that over 350 Chipotle locations now feature this unique take on the drive thru. Still in the growing phase, Chiptle plans to grow from just under 3,000 restaurants to about 7,000 with about 80% of them featuring this concept. The fresh take on the drive thru boasts shorter wait times with digital pre-ordering required prior to entry into the pickup lane where your lunch or dinner is supposed to be ready and waiting for you.
This location is slated to open around Autumn 2022.
