This local favorite is one of many locations affected by Starbucks' "Back to Starbucks" plan, aimed at improving efficiency and focusing on high-growth areas.

The "Back to Starbucks" plan, introduced by interim CEO Howard Schultz, involves the closure of approximately 1% of Starbucks locations, primarily affecting areas considered less strategic for the company's growth. While Starbucks has not released a comprehensive list of affected stores, it has been independently confirmed that the 50th and May location is among those closing their doors.
