(28 October 2022 - FRESNO) In a build that was originally, according to planners, slated to be a Farmer Boys restaurant, sources in city government have informed JTF Fresno that Starbucks is planning its newest Fresno location at the SW corner of Bullard & NW Figarden Drive. Adjacent to the existing ARCO filling station, the Starbucks will be the only location on the Figarden Loop. The addition will fill a noticeable hole in the center of existing locations at Herndon/Golden State, Shaw/99, Herndon/Marks, and Shaw/West. This latest Starbucks will give the growing neighbourhoods in the western loop areas easy biking or short driving access to Starbucks, something that isn't feasible right now with existing store placements combined with the nature of the Figarden Loop and the smaller street access interrupted by the rail road system.
No word, yet, on when the new coffee shop will be open for business.
