(12 August 2022 - FRESNO) The revolutionary 'Next Generation KFC' at 5380 W. Spruce Ave., is well underway in NW Fresno. No others of its kind can be found in California and this prototype store will include a drive thru, special parking areas for food delivery services & online order customers, a completely new branding scheme and design for the location (a change from the 'American Showman' design that more than half of existing KFC locations sport), and digital order kiosks. The location remained an empty lot for almost a year after the first official announcement but is now being built rapidly. Completion is expected later this year.
