(05 January 2024 - FRESNO) Dollar Tree is moving into the eastern Figarden Loop. Having had multiple locations within a >5 minute drive of one another (including the central loop for many years (since its Family Dollar days), the chain is opening another Figarden Loop location a few blocks east at the Marks & Bullard Shopping Center, currently home to the Fresno Public Library, Mayson Ace Hardware, Domino's Pizza, Ovidio's and more. Work has begun on the location, adjacent to Marks Ave., which has been vacant for well over 10 years. No ETA is yet given for the store's grand opening at the location adjacent to Cotter Church Supplies nor if any of the existing adjacent Dollar Stores will be closing in lieu of this new location.
