(22 January 2022 - FRESNO) Far northwest Fresno, though expanding in retail with the help of the El Paseo Marketplace, has long suffered the 'forgotten Fresno' syndrome much like areas west of CA-99. However, in a step towards filling the notable gap, Taco Bell franchisee, Pacific Bells, is busy construcing a new-build location at 6915 N. Golden State Blvd. With the only other Taco Bell locations about 10 minutes to the east and south-east at (Marks & Herdon and Shaw & Brawley) and no locations within reasonable disantace to the west and north, the location promises to be a busy one, especially considering its proximity to the nearby highway and the last exit in Fresno heading north. Adjacent to 2 hotels & a Starbucks, the store is slated to open later this year.
