(30 August 2021 - FRESNO) The Times Square Shopping Center on the SE corner of Shaw Ave. and Marks Ave. in NW Fresno looks to be getting a complete makeover. New owners Brian & Marvin Dole have closed the deal on the plaza at $16.25M.
Currently housing Ross, the new Triangle Burgers we reported on recently, Sizzler restaurant, and a few other tenants, the aging Shaw corridor plaza has been in desperate need of attention for several years. Notably, the vacancy that Big Lots left in 2018 will be included in the remodel which is expected, based on current plans, to bring an entirely new look & feel to the center. We will be watching this planned development with interest and look for new tenants to be moving in as it nears completion.
