(10 November 2021 - FRESNO) S. Maple & E. Butler Avenue is the latest location for Gulf Oil as the franchise chain rapidly expands across the region. Known primarily in other areas of the nation far east of California, Gulf Oil has gone through many shifts and corporate changes over the years and the company it is isn't what it was. Only one other Gulf station is in Fresno at this time (S. Cherry / E. Jensen) but many more are destined to open or convert from a previous brand soon as the company is in the middle of a massive franchise push undercutting franchise competitors such as Sinclair.
